Stats Initiative
The initiative’s focus is to develop, implement, maintain, and communicate telemetric data for the TYPO3 project.
The Stats Initiative was founded in March 2024 as a result of a workshop during the Marketing Sprint about telemetric data collection for TYPO3. Read our launch announcement, Introducing the TYPO3 Stats Initiative: A New Chapter in Data-Driven Development.

Question-Based Data Collection
We're committed to making the data collection process open and inclusive. Only data that serves a specific purpose will be collected. To achieve this, we ask you to raise specific, relevant questions beforehand for the further development of TYPO3.
We won’t collect data just for the sake of “we might use it for something one day,” or “we might need it later”.
How to ask for data to be collected
Anyone can start a conversation suggesting data to be collected. Fill out the Request for TYPO3 Stats Data Collection form. In order to do so, please request access, copy the doc and send your request to our team via Slack and on talk.typo3.org
For full transparency, all questions will be published at talk.typo3.org for community discussion
How can you meet us?
You can contact us in the #stats channel on TYPO3 Slack, where we meet to discuss various topics.
